After her successful Art Exhibition in the new Arts Centre in Mollina, local artist Maria Teresa Fominaya will have another exhibition in Antequera in May. The Exhibition will be held in La Sala de Exposiciones de Unicaja, Calle Ramon y Cajal, round the corner from Calle Comedias. Hours are Monday to Friday from 7 to 9pm from 16th May to 6th June. The inauguration is on Thursday 15th May at 8pm. Teresa is looking forward to showing you round after facing 300 children in Mollina! Don’t miss this opportunity to see some lovely art inspired by the Orient, Nature and Andalucian light!

20 June to 6 July - International Festival of Music and Dance. This annual Festival is held in the beautiful setting of The Alhambra, the Generalife Gardens, monasteries and the Cathedral. All over the city the streets are filled with the sound of Spanish guitars, the click of castanets, the whirl of flamenco dancing and much, much more! There are also smaller concerts in civic centres, chapels, churches, cafes and clubs throughout the city.
