Keep Your Cool Print E-mail

Wondering how to keep cool this summer? Well, ‘Keep Your Cool’ has the answer with their innovative misting system. We asked Kenneth about this exciting new franchise.

Local Connections: Can you give us some background on your company?

Kenneth: It started in Madrid two years ago, and now we have the local franchise on the Costa del Sol and Malaga area. Despite having started only a short while ago, we’ve already installed the system in restaurants on the coast and in a small rural hotel. We’ve had loads of enquiries and would now like to move inland.

L.C: So how does your system work?

Kenneth: Using a high pressure pump, water is forced through nozzles in a line. This produces a fine mist, so fine you can scarcely see it. This evaporates in the heat, cooling the whole area, without any wetting. It provides a wonderful, dry, cool, refreshing environment.

L.C: What do you need to install it?

Kenneth: A power point and water! It uses little water and is simple to install, needing only a misting line and the pump. We also have a fan-assisted system where the nozzles are placed in front of a fan which blows the cooled air across the area. Our systems are also very economical to run and will take only a couple of hours to install. The systems are built to last and require little maintenance.

It has proved to be very popular in California and Florida though it is new to Spain. Lots have already been installed in Madrid. The advantage that a misting system has over fans or aircon units is that it cools the whole area. Another consideration is that pets love it! Cats and dogs enjoy chilling out as much as we do in this climate.

L.C: If someone is interested, what should they do?

Kenneth: Call us for a no-obligation quote. We have systems all set up to be demonstrated at clients’ homes. We can also direct them to where these have already been installed so they can see them for themselves.

L.C: So, if you hate having to hide away inside because it’s too hot, why not consider a misting system to cool and refresh your patio or BBQ area and enjoy an al fresco summer.
